THIS COURSE IS ABOUT

How to address belief systems and their positive or destructive outcomes

15-Seconds - A Spiritual Training Course By Brent Ovalsen

15-Seconds teaches us about Anahata meaning the “Heart Centre” and opens us to ancient knowledge about karma, the law of attraction and the power of our intention.

15-Seconds teaches the arts of affirmations and meditation, aiding people to change habits they don’t consciously think about. We all form habits from a very young age – most are positive; however, others are negative and detrimental. The majority of us go through life not even acknowledging these habits. Some of us take responsibility for them, and change – others don’t know how.

15-Seconds if used correctly with the online interactive Daily Diary, Chart and Meditation tracks, gives any person the power to change these habits – allowing an understanding of where and how they were learned – giving ways of correcting old and adopting new, better habits.

Most importantly, 15-Seconds empowers you to be your truest, highest self, and in doing so, opens you to a pathway of inner peace and joy, as well as external success, positive abundance and harmony.

I’ve had the pleasure of receiving some healing from Brent, and then I was blessed to purchase a reading guide of outcomes, relating to personal, relationship and spiritual growth, that also comes with meditation and access on this website to yoga practises.

To my unexpected surprise, it takes the same amount of energy to worry as it does to be positive. It’s your choice. This right here has been the main basis for my further growth - throughout reading 15 Seconds - A spiritual training course - By Brent Ovalsen.

This book has given me an overwhelming insight into how to deal with my “demons” and stresses of life. Changing the neural pathways of the brain has been challenging but exciting.

Working with Brent he spreads his love and light, energetically uplifts any situation, to provide the best healing experience. You feel lighter, and empowered with a mindset ready to take on the next chapter.

The best gift so far has been inner peace within me and knowing that there is hope every day to develop and grow into the best version of yourself.

It is said, “One should start with oneself but never end with oneself”.

Johnny Appleseed crossed a continent planting apple trees that are centuries later still baring fruit for the wayfarer on their travels.

“Knowing thyself” and the journey within, growing, harvesting and sharing your fruit to understand loving others, begins with loving “oneself”.

15 Seconds, has been a rich and rewarding guide for me cultivating the universal currents that centre our spiritual being and our cosmic consciousness.

I had the great privilege to sip many cups of tea with the author and chat of 15 Seconds content and what is contained within me.

Jesus said, “Let every tree be known by its fruit”. Through Anahata meditation and prayer, like I, you will find God truly does reside within us and all around us.

Our centre of being “The Heart Chakra” or Anahata is the quiet power of the Higher Self attached to the soul essence of each of us – where undistorted sound and colour reverberates and God resides.

This intuitive force is also channelled to our attraction and joyful intimacies, our love and bond. It is the little part of Heaven – the place where there is no imperfection – the union of Heaven, Earth and Spirit.

My pilgrimage here as a human male, now is more purposeful, receptive, intuitive and manifestly oriented.

15 Seconds teachings, or specifically Anahata is the throne of yin and yang, the Alpha and Omega, the harmony and balance resonates within us!

Module 27 – Love

JOHN 13:34-35 (Words of Christ) “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

1 JOHN 4:8 “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

Brent IAm “To not believe in love, is to not believe, for love is the basis of all things, it is the conduit between all things and it is all things in their purest form.”

Ancient Greeks developed four main words for love: Storge, being parental love, Eros, meaning the feeling of love between two people in an erotic sense; Philos, pertaining to love in the form of true friendships; and finally, Agape, which is the pure state of our heart centre or Anahata; the purest form of consciousness; the place where we feel the divine love; the intrinsic connection between ourselves and all other living beings; where we feel connected to others and God as one. Rather than hating others, Agape is learning to love, forgive and assist our enemies with God’s key attribute – loving-kindness. We then merge this with all our actions, becoming selfless among our fellow man and animals. Agape is the love most associated with karma, as karma means “action” and Agape is the love of action; contrary to Storge, Philos and Eros, which all primarily relate to involuntary or instinctive feelings, rather than the actions which stem from them. When we experience Agape or the deepest aspect of love, we come to realise that nothing else matters, just love. Nonetheless, to experience Agape for ourselves requires sustained positive and loving actions on our part.

Love is a natural emotion, though it is the emotion that can often be suppressed, misunderstood and sadly not embraced to its potential. Love is certainly the underlying emphasis of this entire course and the many topics covered herein all embrace concepts of love.

As we grow up during our early childhood, we experience a myriad of levels of emotion that all stem from either love or fear. If our parents were extremely loving (and this includes them implementing defined boundaries and discipline), we would find that we grow up feeling more secure in ourselves. This begins with the ability to firstly love ourselves, and then we extend this into relationships where we start to communicate positively with others, and then later we learn to love them. Close relatives and carers are where we see our first love blossom; however, sadly for those children that receive abuse and neglect, they find themselves lacking in normal emotional stability and communication skills. It is our role as parents to love our children with all our heart and all our soul. Contrary to old-fashioned thinking, loving a child in this manner does not make them emotionally weak, rather it gives a child a keen sense of personal identity, which is the stable platform required for a life of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual balance. Initial seeds of love from parents allow a child to develop into their fullest potential and to have relationships with others that are fulfilling and harmonious.

When we live our life from our fears rather than from the beautiful platform of love, we cut ourselves off from the divine connection with God, as God is only accessible through love itself via loving thoughts words and deeds.

Regardless of whether we did have loving parents, it is our duty as an adult to embrace love, and this begins with loving our self. Part of this process is that we must learn to move past attitudes of self-doubt and the negatives in our life through firstly learning to like and accept ourselves, which will eventually lead to embracing a complete self-love. To love oneself is the art of self-exploration and rectification through affirmations, meditation and daily spiritual reflection. Once we begin the journey of going within and taking a true, hard look at ourselves, this automatically causes us to begin loving our self. At first, we may find the opposite happens. As we discover the myriad of negative habits and traits within, we may find that we don’t like our self very much; however, as we begin to change these negatives into more positive habits and traits, we will discover that the love, light and peace of God are accessible within and that we are a beautiful divine being. At this point, we develop the ability to truly love others, and the more we love others, the more love comes our way, for this is God’s law.

Love can be something that we feel we ‘need’ whether it is through pleasure or appreciation. Needing love in the form of pleasure means that we may feel disappointed during times when we don’t get what we want, when we don’t get pleasurable fulfilment. Needing love in the form of appreciation means that we want to be appreciated; however, appreciation only tends to happen when we least expect it. The key to getting more love and appreciation from others is to constantly give it out, for the more you give, the more it comes back!

Love is the key to self-exploration. To access self-healing, higher levels of consciousness and the divine presence of Angels and Guides, we must begin firstly with meditation. Using the meditations I have produced for this course you can achieve a meditative state of mind.

Love is then required to take our meditative state of mind to its absolute potential. Our Creator used love to stitch the fabric of our universe. With love, our Angels and Guides may begin to appear, our level of consciousness will begin to expand, and healing will start to take place, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

This is the state of your heart centre or Anahata.

Brent IAm “I do not know how, where, when or why, but I love myself dearly; therefore, I can love others fully.”

Module 26 – Fear

2 TIMOTHY 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

1 JOHN 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.”

THEODORE ROOSEVELT “Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though chequered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”

Brent IAm “To shift our negative thoughts, we need to shift our feelings, as when our feelings shift, the consciousness of our thoughts shift. For example, if you think positive, you will feel positive and attract further positive thoughts, which in turn attract further positive events.”

We must go beyond the boundaries we have created with our fears. While with faith all things work together for good; with fears, we attract the things that we fear most, for lessons of learning, growth and sometimes an outright harsh karmic consequence.

Fear is a natural emotion, linked to instinctive fight or flight mechanisms stemming from basic survival. Fear is in most cases negative; however, it can in select circumstances be a healthy tool in relation to our survival.

Fear is the opposite of love; it is the negative aspect of us. In life, we may either react with love, or we may react with fear leading to difficult states of mind. Love is when we are being creative, compassionate and using positivity to resolve situations. When not acting from the heart centre or love, we may begin with actions based on our fears. These may breed rage, jealousy, resentfulness and other relationship destroying behaviours. These non-love based reactions create negative karma; they sow seeds of decay in our life. On the other hand, when we act out of love, with love, we create situations whereby our life will flourish to the highest potential of each moment.

Other than rational fears based upon remaining safe, the only exception to this rule of love versus fear is a healthy fear of God and our positive role models as well as a healthy fear of our negative actions. In this context, it is our love for God that merges with a healthy fear of consequence, thereby facilitating our positive steps forward.

God is a loving God and often lets the negative habits we have, and the consequential negative seeds that we have planted, come upon us gently as reminders to get back on the pathway of love, light, peace and positivity. If we receive a little tap on the shoulder in the form of a negative event, it is up to us to look into the basis of this event happening to us. Although this may be complicated, it is generally simple to see where we are planting seeds of negativity. If we do not learn the lessons that are being sent to us, they will be repeated over and over again until such time that we decide to change our habits, actions, thoughts and words. If we feel separated from God, this is because we ‘need’ to go through the experience to achieve growth. God often intervenes with miracles just when we feel that there is no hope left whatsoever. Meditation is an essential tool for investigating these lessons, the parts of us that we need to change.

A loving partner or even a nasty enemy helps us to see our habits which require change, as they reflect back upon us our inner conflict, negativity and need for change. (See module: “The Perfect Mirror”.)

The consequence of things we fear is that we attract these things to happen. By fearing something, we plant a small negative seed that will grow and manifest in our lives. When we learn to have undivided faith and hand over our fears to God, the things we fear change our lives with positive growth. On the other hand, when we choose to consciously walk a negative path focussed on our fears, destruction comes our way.

When we think of something, we raise the fear and then dwell on it. We are feeding that fear and consequently ‘watering’ and ‘fertilising’ the negative seeds we have planted about such fear; therefore, the fear ‘grows’. If we face our fears head on, only then will we see the power of the love, light and peace of God as the fear is generally much less than we ‘create’ in our minds when we walk headlong into it with faith. How many times have we sat there and contemplated some event or person, dreaming up all sorts of horrible possibilities as to how things will turn out; then when the event, place or person comes along, we find that it all goes well?

First, these types of fearful thoughts are on some level a prayer (See module: “Prayer Field”) and disrespectful to God. It goes against having faith that our all mighty Creator will only ever give us what we need for growth; what we need for our highest good; it goes against the universal law that God never gives us anything that we cannot handle; and ultimately the fear is negative, thus negative karma. The second aspect of our fear is the fact that we have wasted an enormous amount of energy worrying about something that often turns out fine. This energy has planted negative seeds rather than positive. This energy could have been put to better, more positive and constructive pursuits.

If we focus our attention on believing that others are on a path to fail, then this is likely to be the outcome. Our effect on others must not be underestimated. Our thoughts are prayers that will come to fruition in some form. A teacher who constantly puts their students down and implants visions of their future failure will have a manifestly negative influence – conversely, a teacher who nurtures, encourages and speaks in positive, hopeful tones, will bring out the best in his or her students.

While one walks the path of purifying and cleansing the karma of our past, it is wise to sit quietly and contemplate the power of manifestation of new karma via the medium of our fears. What we fear, we ultimately attract. It is up to us to think carefully about manifesting a positive destiny. Think of the event, place or person in question that you fear. Once this is in your mind, hand it over to God and say positive prayer and affirmations that the best possible situation for the highest good of all parties will come about; and then sit back and watch your karma, your faith, and God’s miracles work a splendid action.
